Founded and managed by Reiki Master Teacher Lucie Emmett, The Exeter Reiki Centre offers Reiki treatments as well as training and courses at all levels of Reiki from beginners to Masters.
At The Exeter Reiki Centre we teach and give Reiki to adults and children of all ages, with the ultimate aim of empowering people to take responsibility for their own physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. We welcome all clients for Reiki sessions regardless of whether or not they are ultimately interested in learning Reiki themselves, and welcome all students at all levels, even if they have previously trained elsewhere. We look to give our students the skills to heal themselves in every area of their lives and encourage them to incorporate the original Reiki precepts into their lives as much as possible.
Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique which promotes wellbeing and healing through stress-reduction and relaxation. As a natural healing system, Reiki can be used alongside other complementary therapies or conventional medicine. Reiki treatments reduce stress within the body and produce a feeling of complete physical and emotional well-being. With regular treatments you will feel calmer, more positive and better able to cope with whatever life throws at you.
If you decide to learn Reiki, you get all the benefits of a Reiki treatment, daily, for free. At the level of Reiki First Degree you can treat yourself, and your friends and family, for free, as often as you like. Reiki Second Degree qualifies you to be a Reiki practitioner. Reiki Third Degree is the Master-Teacher level. The teachings of The Exeter Reiki Centre are based on the original Japanese system of Reiki. We use traditional Japanese ‘Reiju’ empowerments, follow the original Reiki teachings and precepts, and encourage students to adhere to Mikao Usui's focus on using Reiki primarily for one's own self-healing and spiritual development.
Whether you would like to receive a Reiki treatment, want to learn how to heal yourself through Reiki, or take the first step towards learning how to help both yourself and others by training as a Reiki practitioner, please get in touch.
Please note that our manager, Lucie, is lucky enough to be involved full-time in an important research project from September 2017 until the summer of 2018. During this time there will be slightly fewer live courses on offer than usual, although our distant-learning quota remains unchanged. Clinic times and availability for Reiki treatments will also reflect these exciting new changes. Please bear with us for the next few months and be patient if you were hoping to study with us or be treated by us soon.
